About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive the product-market fit and go-to-market strategy for a maturing product line targeting financial institutions, including banks and credit unions. This is a highly visible role, bridging strategy, customer engagement, and execution, with a strong focus on delivering impactful products to market.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and results-driven professional with a deep understanding of financial services, a passion for solving customer problems, and the ability to establish credibility with senior-level stakeholders in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Product-Market Fit:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their challenges, goals, and feedback.
- Validate product assumptions through research, focus groups, surveys, and A/B testing.
- Refine product scope and priorities based on evidence and market insights.
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Define and execute strategies to bring products to market successfully.
- Partner with the sales organization to drive revenue growth and adoption.
- Develop compelling value propositions and articulate how the product addresses customer needs.
- Client Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to financial institutions by demonstrating deep industry knowledge.
- Facilitate meaningful dialogues with clients to co-create solutions and establish thought leadership.
- Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Partner closely with internal teams, including development, strategy, and operations, to align on priorities and execution.
- Stay focused on market-facing responsibilities, ensuring that operational details are seamlessly integrated by supporting teams.
Qualifications
- Industry Expertise:
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in financial services or fintech.
- Familiarity with the banking sector’s challenges, particularly those of mid-sized and regional banks/credit unions.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Demonstrated success in achieving product-market fit and launching products.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to narrow broad market opportunities into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to connect with both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence revenue outcomes and meet performance targets.
